"So-La-Mi"Solfege Game. Teacher sings solfege patterns. Students echo each one UNLESS it has a "So-La-Mi" pattern in that order. Example is in the audio file below.

"Beat Master"Choose one student to be the "Detective." The detective goes to the bulletin board and closes their eyes. The teacher will pick one student in the circle to be the "Beat Master." The detective comes back to the circle. The class will begin keeping the beat on their knees and as the beat master changes where to keep the beat, the detective tries to figure out who the leader is.
